Braces & Custom Orthotics

What are orthotics?
Orthotics are custom-made arch supports that are inserted into your shoe. A doctor may prescribe them to help correct problems, such as high arches and flat feet.

What is the process of being fitted for orthotics?
Custom-made orthotics are designed to fit your foot perfectly. First, the doctor makes a mold of your feet. Then, your orthotics are fashioned from Polyetheylene, or other materials, depending on your problem or purpose for the orthotics. The doctor will check the fit of your orthotics to see if any adjustments are needed. It may take two to three weeks to “break-in” your orthotics.

How much does a pair of orthotics usually cost?
The price of a custom-made pair of orthotics may vary from office to office. T.E.A.M. Clinic charges a $150 deposit at the time of casting and then $245 after the fitting. This includes the exam, casting, lab fees, fitting and early adjustments.
